Cup head weld pins are welded to the metal after they pierce through the insulaton and make contact with the surface.
A Capacity Discharge Stud Welding Machine (CD) is necessary for use with these pins.
Pins have a paper washer or can be plastic coated to prevent sparking caused by FRK paper.
